Microsoft’s design philosophy “Throw in More Features”.

I just read this remark about the Microsoft design philosophy, and I think it is the foundation of 99.9% of all of MS’s problems. They make features without thinking about user needs. I think the problem here is that Bill Gates is a programmer, and that has formed MS software into this feature hell. They make release Word 1001 with features X, Y, Z etc. , but the users need featues A and B that solves their actual needs.

Like how the f… do I shut off those f….. security warnings.

Another example of Microsoft’s inability to understand younger users, comes in what I can only call their software design philosophy, which I can summarize as “Throw in More Features”.
